Find New Customers through Modern Digital Marketing Strategies

The idea of finding new customers is appealing. But not necessarily simple.

What if I said all you have to do is have a simple conversation and tell this person all about you, your company, and the problems you solve and you can have a steady stream of warm leads seeking you out?

Probably sounds too good to be true? It is easier than you think.

Before we get too far ahead, let’s define outreach marketing.

According to one source “outreach marketing is the practice of seeking out individuals or organizations that have a shared interest in what you or your company has to offer.”

Another says “outreach marketing aims to take marketing back to its roots and focuses on a human to human connection and the basics of consumer psychology. It’ simple as connection with your consumers instead of a process of marketing at them.”

Podcast interview marketing is simply the process of offering value (your knowledge, your stories, and your advice) to a podcaster’s audience. If the podcaster feels you have enough value to share they will invite you for an interview. And this is where outreach marketing comes into play.

Once you begin to secure interviews and share value with the audience those listeners can become warm leads for you.

You just spent 30 minutes to an hour inside their head. You spent that time speaking directly to them, sharing your stories, imparting your advice, giving value.

There’s an old saying that people buy from people not companies. What better way to give your company a face, a story, and a mission than for the CEO or other leaders to get in front of an audience and make a real human to human connection.

After the interview some of those listeners will be intrigued by your message and will want to continue to develop a relationship. Those that connected deeply with you will seek you out on social media, sign up to your mailing list, or even make a purchase.

When you're developing the thought leadership of your company don't overlook your most prized brand ambassadors, your employees!
